Proud Dub Lover

I've always been a fan of the anime English voice over. When I was young I was introduced to anime on Cartoon Network when they had shows like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and many others. Since then many of the anime that are my favorites I've watched all of them in English. There has only been one anime that I watched in sub and that was Ouran High School Host Club before Funimation licensed it (even though I now watch the English version after getting used to the English voices).

While I really enjoyed the show in Japanese, I like watching it better in English for three reasons:

1) I don't know how to speak Japanese. Even though I know a few words in Japanese, it's not enough to actually say I know the language.
2) Since I don't know Japanese nor understand it, I prefer not to watch Subtitles. I can't pay attention to both and sometimes when I read the subtitles I miss something important on the screen.
3) I've always watched anime in English. Most of the exposure came from Cartoon Network and Toonami. I've gotten so used to it that its the version I look for whenever I want to get into a new anime.

I know there are some people who prefer subs over dubs and the other way around. But I like to watch my anime in English and I'm proud of it.
